A knife is only as strong as its weakest point. For me, strong lock bars prevent lock slip a bit better, and the strider is defiantly doing well here.Īnother “theorem of Pythagoras” philosophy I have, just to give me a small sense of how strong a lock bar is, I measure the recessed area on the lock bar. It should be hard strong lock, Maybe someone complained that their little fingers hurt too much if the lock bar is too strong to move over, who knows. (I hate it when they don’t bend the lock bar enough, and you can use the pinky to disengage the lock. A very solid lock up, with nice pressure on the lock. Then you have the oblong “spydie” hole to deploy blade, and out comes an almost full flat ground S30V blade with tiger stripes. Something along the line of Mick Strider not giving his correct credentials in the military, and has been arrested for carjacking somewhere along the line. Regarding the knife, It has politics, but who cares. I have been searching for one these for a long time, I wouldn’t of owned this (or hinderer) if it wasn’t for SA blade.
